Arlington Hts. Man missing.(News)

The family of a longtime Arlington Heights resident is searching for the man who has been missing since Friday morning.

Leslie Wroblewski, 58, last was seen about 9:30 a.m. Friday, reportedly on his way to work. However, his brother, who works at the same Mount Prospect dental lab as Wroblewski, said he never showed up.

"We have gone to all the neighbors, passed out fliers, run credit reports. We've done everything you could possibly do," said Krystal Abbinanti, Wroblewski's daughter. "This is not like my father to do something like this."

Abbinanti said her father also took out $2,000 from the LaSalle Bank in Mount Prospect about 9:45 a.m. Friday morning, which also is unusual for him.

She said the clerk at the bank who knows her father said he was calm and didn't notice anything unusual.

Police said they haven't ruled anything out in the investigation.

"He lives a structured life, and he didn't show up to work, which is unlike him," Sgt. Rich Gausselin said.

Abbinanti said her mother noticed Wroblewski hadn't been eating much the past few days, but other than that nobody in the family could find anything unusual.

"My father's very predictable; he lived by the book," Abbinanti said. "His family misses him and just wants him to come home."

She said the family is also worried about Wroblewski being out in such cold weather.
He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. He was driving a two-door blue Nissan Sentra with license plate Y399220.
